Sailing Away

Team New Zealand approached us in 2005 to develop fully operational mobile workshops from containers. They wanted a plug and play solution where all they needed to do was close the door and ship them off. We ended up modifying a dozen 40 footers that travelled to Barcelona and then Dubai in 2007. We had a few curly challenges along the way, such as recessing the doors to meet shipping standards. The workshops were a great success, setting the standard with many of the other teams following suit.
